Inspected Configuration
We opened the official Pragmatic Play public demo on 22 October 2026 and read all eight help screens. They list 96.50% separately for Normal, Ante Bet, Super Spin 1, Super Spin 2, Buy Free Spins and Buy Super Free Spins. This verifies the displayed percentage in that client; it does not reveal the underlying reel strips, outcome probabilities or full mathematical models for those modes.
The game runs on a 6 by 5 grid where at least eight matching symbols anywhere pay. Winning symbols tumble away and new ones drop in, continuing until no new wins form. The rules list three scatter coins as the trigger for the free-spin choice. The client confirms six total options: five fixed spin-and-multiplier combinations plus a Mystery selection that randomizes both parameters.
Our inspection covered the help files, paytable, and mode selection screens. We did not access a funded South African account or test withdrawal speeds. The 96.50% figure is the configured theoretical return for this specific demo environment, not a promise of what any individual session will produce.
Theoretical RTP Is Not a Refund
RTP is the theoretical ratio of money returned to money wagered over the game’s probability model. A 96.50% figure corresponds to R96.50 expected return per R100 of turnover, with a R3.50 mathematical gap. That is not a refund process, a guaranteed balance after spending R100 or a promise that a particular number of spins will bring a player back to the average.
For a hypothetical fixed set of one hundred R10 entries, total turnover is R1,000. At the inspected percentage, expected return is R965 and the expected net difference is negative R35. The actual return can differ substantially. There is no published threshold in the inspected rules at which a session must achieve 96.50%; playing longer to chase that number does not create an entitlement to reimbursement.
Changing the entry size changes the money attached to that percentage. On a R500 entry the same 3.50% gap corresponds to R17.50 in expectation. An individual result is not limited to either a huge win or zero: a return can also be below, equal to or above the full entry cost. A R300 return from R500 is a R200 net loss, even if the client celebrates the payout.
The LOW VOLATILITY Label
The inspected help screen and introduction explicitly display Low Volatility. We preserve that visible label rather than silently replacing it with a conflicting secondary classification. Volatility concerns the dispersion of returns; hit frequency concerns how often a defined paying event occurs. They are related concepts in game design, but one label does not supply a numerical measurement of the other.
The label alone cannot tell a player how often a round returns more than its stake, how long a losing sequence can be or how often the maximum occurs. We have not estimated any of those quantities. The screenshot is evidence of the wording in the client, not evidence that our one observed result represents the ordinary outcome distribution.
It is especially important not to treat the label as protection when selecting an enhanced mode. Super Spin 2 at a hypothetical R2 base commits R500, regardless of how reassuring a volatility word appears. Full cost, feature conditions and theoretical return each answer a different question. Read all three instead of interpreting Low Volatility as a limit on how much the next paid entry can lose.

RTP Across All Six Modes
All six priced modes show the same 96.50% in the captured rules. This observation stands on its own; no broad claim about how unusual it is among other slots is needed. It also does not publish a separate RTP for each of the five colour choices and Mystery inside the free-spin feature. The list of priced modes and the list of bonus choices are different lists.
The modes differ in cost and feature frequency, not in long-term payback percentage. Ante Bet increases the chance of triggering free spins eightfold and guarantees every winning wild is at least 2x. Super Spin 1 guarantees a wild on every spin and tumble but cannot trigger free spins. Super Spin 2 guarantees wilds with accumulating multipliers but also cannot trigger free spins.
For a hypothetical R1,000 of total wagering, 96.50% gives the same R35 expected gap whether that turnover consists of normal entries or an enabled enhanced mode with the same stated percentage. It does not make the outcome distributions or experiences identical. Five hundred R2 entries and two R500 entries commit the same total, but the rules alone do not provide their numerical variance or the chance of finishing ahead.
Turnover and Cost Mechanics
Use the displayed base stake and the full mode price. In the inspected menu, Normal costs one base, Ante costs five, Super Spin 1 costs twenty and Super Spin 2 costs 250. Thus a hypothetical R2 base means R2, R10, R40 or R500 per paid entry respectively. The rules’ internal denomination units should not be mistaken for extra multipliers applied directly to that displayed R2.
The two purchases cost 100 and 500 times the base: R200 and R1,000 at a hypothetical R2 base. A purchased feature can return less than its price, so it can produce a net loss like any other paid entry. Include the entire purchase cost in turnover when calculating the return from that entry. Counting only the R2 base would drastically overstate its apparent profitability.
A promotional wagering requirement is a separate account rule. For example, 30× wagering on a hypothetical R100 qualifying win means R3,000 of required turnover under that multiplier. It does not establish which modes are permitted, their contribution rates, the maximum allowed stake or the deadline. Read those terms before assuming enhanced modes count; this guide does not recommend expensive features as a way to clear a promotion.

Hit Frequency Versus Profitability
A paying event and a profitable paid round are different things. In the inspected USD 2 demo paytable, eight or nine purple candies pay USD 1.00. If that were the only payout in a normal round, the USD 2 debit followed by USD 1 returned would leave a net USD 1 loss. The presence of a win animation would not change the arithmetic.
Tumbles add another distinction. Our one captured normal round produced four payout entries totalling USD 6.10 from one USD 2 stake. A counter that logged four hits and another counter that logged one winning paid round could both be describing that same event at different levels. Any useful future frequency study would need to define its unit before collecting and presenting percentages.
Ante Bet increases the stated chance of free spins eightfold. That does not establish an eightfold increase in all hits, profitable rounds or scatter symbols. The mode also changes the minimum multiplier of a winning wild, so its RTP cannot be explained solely by dividing a trigger improvement by its fivefold price. We report the conditions and the displayed RTP without inventing a mathematical decomposition.
Maximum Win Mechanics
The maximum win is 5000x the bet. When this is reached, the round ends immediately and any remaining free spins are forfeited. This cap applies to the total win from a single game round, including all tumbles and multipliers.
The retained wording does not resolve the enhanced-mode denomination clearly enough to publish a separate cash ceiling for every price option. We do not assume that the 5,000× label should be multiplied by a R500 Super Spin 2 price, and we do not present that hypothetical product as an attainable jackpot. Clarifying the relevant stake unit matters before converting a multiplier cap into money.
For ordinary arithmetic, 5,000 times R2 is R10,000. That multiplication explains the scale of a base-stake figure; it is not a forecast or a substitute for the exact configuration’s cap rules. A maximum specifies an upper boundary, not a typical win or a target a session will eventually reach. Its occurrence probability is not supplied by the headline multiplier.
Limits of a Single Round
We recorded one normal round in virtual USD, not a rand-equivalent funded game. The opening credit was USD 100,000, the stake USD 2 and the full return USD 6.10. Final credit was USD 100,004.10. Four entries in the payout list accounted for the return: USD 1.50, USD 1.60, USD 2.00 and USD 1.00. Their sum matches the settled win display.
This record illustrates payout accounting, not the low-volatility profile. It cannot confirm the theoretical RTP, estimate the chance of a profit or establish that four payouts are typical. It is a UI-reconciled observation with saved original frames, not a statistical study. No claim is made that a larger positive result is more representative or that a future session will reproduce this return.
The round demonstrates that wins are added after all tumbles complete. The intermediate counter showed 5.26 during animation, but the final settled return was 6.10. Players should wait for the final balance update before assessing a round's result.

Unknown Probabilities
The rules do not disclose the probability of triggering free spins naturally, the distribution of the Mystery option, or the exact hit frequency. The Ante Bet offers an eightfold increase in free-spin chance, but this is relative. If the base probability is 1 in 200, the Ante makes it 1 in 25. If the base is 1 in 500, the Ante makes it 1 in 62.5. We do not know the base rate.
Similarly, the Mystery free-spin option randomizes the number of spins and multiplier set, but the rules do not state whether all combinations are equally likely. We cannot calculate the expected value of the Mystery choice versus the fixed options. We do not rank the bonus choices by EV because the input probabilities are unknown.
The Super Spin modes guarantee wilds but do not disclose the probability distribution of the multiplier values. Super Spin 2 uses values of 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, and 100x, but the frequency of each is not published. Without this, we cannot model the exact volatility of the mode, only its cost and guaranteed features.
Checking Operator Configurations
The 96.50% figure and Low Volatility label come from the provider-hosted demo we inspected. The configuration inside a particular operator account has not been tested here. We do not infer what a jurisdiction certifies or which mathematical versions are available from that one client. Verify the information shown in the game you actually open before relying on a configuration-specific statement.
Public listings show Jelly Express available at Sportingbet South Africa, but we have not verified the RTP configuration there. Jabula Bets terms mention the game in a promotion, but this is a marketing document, not a verified game configuration. Betway autocomplete suggestions do not prove listing or settings.
To check the configuration, open the game, navigate to the information or help section, and locate the RTP display. Compare it to the 96.50% observed in the demo. If the operator displays a different figure, that figure applies to your play. Do not assume the demo configuration transfers to real-money play.
Keep a record of the provider name, game title, displayed mode, full price and date when comparing configurations. A lobby card may show only a title or promotional maximum, while the detailed help contains the percentage and restrictions. If information is absent, ask the operator for the applicable rules rather than substituting the figure from a different operator or assuming the highest advertised setting.
Read three numbers together: stake, return and balance
A useful check does not start with the RTP label. Start with the paid entry shown in the menu. Suppose a hypothetical R2 base is used for a R40 Super Spin 1 entry and the round returns R25. Full turnover for that entry is R40, gross return is R25 and net result is negative R15. The R2 base still describes the underlying price scale, but it is not the cost to subtract from R25.
Now suppose the starting balance is R100. Subtract R40 and add R25 to get R85. The balance is lower by R15, agreeing with the net calculation. This reconciliation catches a common misleading comparison in clips and screenshots: a return divided by the small base can look impressive while the actual paid feature loses money. Use the complete entry price even when the interface keeps the smaller base visible.
Finally, keep this individual outcome separate from a percentage measured over a collection of entries. A future recorded return ratio would divide the sum of all returned amounts by the sum of all paid costs. It would need a defined sample, complete settled rounds and a clear treatment of different modes. We have not collected that corpus here, so the only RTP percentage presented as a configuration fact is the theoretical figure shown by the client.
